DSM STAFF MAJOR PROJECT EXPERIENCE



Project: Mt Pleasant WWTP upgrade.

Client: The Barossa Council
Project value: $1.4mil

DSM Construction was engaged by The Barossa Council to upgrade the Mt Pleasant Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The project was started in early 2014 and was commissioned in July 2014.

DSM Construction was responsible for the whole construction process, from the civil earthworks to construction of the filtration and chlorination building, installation and commissioning of all the pumps, pumpstations, holding tanks, clarifiers, balance tanks and manifolding, and the installation and final commissioning of six rotating biological contactors.




Project: Emergency Pump Station & Gravity Sewer Main Installation

Client: The Coorong District Council

DSM Construction was engaged to replace an existing pumpstation, gravity sewer and rising main pipework.

DSM Construction worked with the Council to ensure a smooth commissioning process during the changing over of the pump stations and linking in of the existing pipework



Project: Hindmarsh Island Rising Main Project

Client: Alexandrina Council
Project Value: $280k

DSM Construction was sub-contracted to construct the Western side of the Hindmarsh Island Rising main Project. This included the installation of over a kilometre of 150mm PVC rising main, and several direction bores under the heritage railway in Goolwa.



Project: Network Expansion and ongoing maintenance

Client: Willunga Basin Water

DSM  Construction has been servicing Willunga Basin Water Company for 6 years.

Including the construction of pump stations and several kilometres of re-claimed water pipelines ranging in size from 50mm - 450mm in diameter, as well as the repair and maintenance of their existing infrastructure.

Daniel Haynes, DSM Constructions' Managing Director, has been working on the Willunga Basin Water network for the past 9 years and in that time has supervised the installation of over 50 water meter connections to vineyards and over 15 kilometres of pipelines across the Mclaren Vale District.



Project: Bakewell Underpass Redevelopment

Whilst employed as supervisors at B J Jarrads, Daniel Haynes and Tony Skuse were responsible for the construction and installation of the water mains and stormwater pipes on the Bakewell underpass project.
