Project: Mt Pleasant WWTP upgrade

This project commenced in November 2004, and was to design manufacture and install a transportation system for transporting front & rear seats for the new 380 model Magna from the loading dock area to the production line. This was achieved using several vertical lifters and pushers, combined with over 100 metres of conveying equipment. Large Walkways each weighing over 300 kg, had to be designed and suspended from roof trusses, within the facility to support the conveyor system and provide access for maintenance personnel. Artec Engineering undertook all electrical work including PLC programming.
Project: Emergency Pump Station & Gravity Sewer Main Installation
Client: The Coorong District Council
DSM Construction was engaged to replace an existing pumpstation, gravity sewer and rising main pipework.
DSM Construction worked with the Council to ensure a smooth commissioning process during the changing over of the pump stations and linking in of the existing pipework

Whilst employed as supervisors at B J Jarrads, Daniel Haynes and Tony Skuse were responsible for the construction and installation of the water mains and stormwater pipes on the Bakewell underpass project.
Project: Hindmarsh Island Rising Main Project

DSM Construction was sub-contracted to construct the Western side of the Hindmarsh Island Rising main Project. This included the installation of over a kilometre of 150mm PVC rising main, and several direction bores under the heritage railway in Goolwa.

DSM Construction has been servicing Willunga Basin Water Company for 6 years.
Including the construction of pump stations and several kilometres of re-claimed water pipelines ranging in size from 50mm – 450mm in diameter, as well as the repair and maintenance of their existing infrastructure.
Daniel Haynes, DSM Constructions’ Managing Director, has been working on the Willunga Basin Water network for the past 9 years and in that time has supervised the installation of over 50 water meter connections to vineyards and over 15 kilometres of pipelines across the Mclaren Vale District.
